After Your Mommy Makeover Procedure
Recovery from a mommy makeover is different for everyone and depends on which plastic surgery procedures a patient chooses.
In some cases, we may offer patients from the Maritime provinces of Canada an extended stay in a private room at our Halifax, Nova Scotia, office. This is especially the case for mommy makeovers involving a breast surgery procedure or tummy tuck. This room includes care from a semi-private nurse (one nurse to every two patients) until going home early the next morning.
It may be necessary for you to wear a compression garment to support your breasts or to control swelling in your abdomen. The healing process will take several weeks, and the final results of your mommy makeover won't be apparent for several months after your surgery.
